haha i didn't even realize that. but its a great movie, although the ending pisses me off, as it should. but yeah, i just kinda thought about that.
:iconiceocean:
Yeah...I can't believe they fired him!!! And...Cameron and Neil's dad sucked.
Mr. Keating was cool.
What did you think about Knox? At first, I really didn't like him cause I thought he was shallow, but then his character grew on me.

Thanks you for all the faves!

same to you! Its amazing how you take your pictures, the lighting and the frank nudity. Are the models friends? (Ive been talking with some of my friends to have them model for me.. lets see how this works :P)
:iconkuryakin-prisoner:
Hi Megan,

The lighting is all natural light from windows, so sunny days help a lot with that! The female model is a professional (well, I had to pay her) who I worked with when I lived in London. The male model is me and all those photos were taken with a tripod and timer. I guess that the nudity is frank but I take care to use shadows and not show my face!

Are you asking your friends to model for paintings or photos? Photos are easier because you only have to stay still for a second but I guess people feel less exposed by a painting because the image is at one remove.

I especially like your nude self portrait, which is quite frank itself. Did you do that in the mirror or from a photo?

wow, thats amazing- did it take a lot of shots to get the right one? And frank nudity isn't a bad thing, i enjoy how your pictures are, in some ways, confrontational to the viewer. Stark nudity isnt something some people see every day, its wonderfully in-your-face.

I'm asking for photos, because i'm no where at the level of doing quick sketches to finalize latter. Thank you, for the nude self portrait. I took a photo in the mirror of my bathroom lol. The arm thats reaching up is really holding a camera, upside down. I like that pose, and after many, many tries i got that pic.

And yes, painting a photo is an interpretation, no matter how real you try to make it. Thats comforting, knowing that its not really you in the picture, not your exposed self with all its flaws and beauty, but rather a ripple of it.
